Terms & Conditions

How to Enter:

Participants must complete the following requirements by 23:59 31/8/23 to be in the running of the competition:

  1. Follow the @midcityshopping centre Instagram account
  2. Like the competition post
  3. Tag another Instagram user in the comments of the specified competition post.

The above information on ‘How to Enter’ forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Entry into this competition is open to those complete the entry requirements.

The competition commences on 3rd of August at 8:00  and concludes on 31st August at 23:59 (“Promotional Period”). There is no entry limit per person and the winner will be notified via direct message on Instagram. Winners will be drawn and contacted on the by or before the of 6th of August.  If they do not respond to the communications that they have won by the date and time specified in the message, there prize will be reallocated to another participant. 

There is 10 prizes to be won. The prize supplied by MidCity consists of 1 voucher for JD Sports valued at $200. Each winner will only win one prize.  Prizes must be redeemed with in 30 days of confirmation that their prize is ready to be collected. 

 If, for any reason, the Participant does not redeem their Prize by this date, the Prize will be deemed invalid and cash or other goods or services will not be offered in replacement.

Should the Participant’s contact details change during the Promotional Period, it is the Participant’s responsibility to notify MidCity Centre. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry must be directed to MidCity Centre only.

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of this competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following:

Any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether under the Promoter’s control);

Any competition entry that is late,  altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;

Any variation in purchase value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;

Any tax liability incurred by a Participant; Once an entry is made by the Participant, the Participant acknowledges that the Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Competition is final and binding.

All references to times and dates are to times and dates according to AEST.

Only customers who fulfil the competition requirements will be entered. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

The Promoter’s decision regarding eligibility for entry into the competition and any substitution of entry is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the competition.

The information a Participant provides as part of entry into this competition will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter.

The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the competition in any way.

The Participant accepts and acknowledges that the Prize is deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s and the Partner’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information either caused by website users or by any of the equipment used, or by any computers or technology used by intermediaries, service providers, or business partners to facilitate the campaign.

If the prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

The information provided is being collected by FORTIUS FUND MANAGEMENT (Mid City Centre) (90 093 111 641) who are collecting the information to enter participants into the draw, to participate in the promotion and for general marketing purposes. The participant’s personal information may be shared with other companies in the Fortius Funds Management and third party service providers who process information on our behalf for the purposes described above. You may request access at any time to personal information held by the Promoters by contacting maddie@bythree.com.au. The details of the prize winner may be required, by State/Territory legislation to be published in promotional marketing material. Information provided will be subject to the PRIVACY POLICY.

The Participants accept that they must participate in all promotional activities concerning the competition and they consent to Mid City Centre and The Partner using their name and image in any further promotional material. Redemption of the winning Prize in the competition constitutes consent to use the Participants full name and email address, whom will be contacted via The Promoter and the Partner’s e-Newsletters unless otherwise stated. By redeeming the Prize, Participants are providing consent for the Partner to hold and use their personal information. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to additional third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information, which will be added to The Partner’s database. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending marketing communications. Entrants should direct any request to access, update, remove, or correct information direct to Mid City Centre who will notify the Partner. All entries become the property of both the Promoter and the Partner.
