Recharge

There’s a certain sense of accomplishment that comes after working out and having your two servings of fruit and vegetable before 10 am. Smoothie bowls are one of the easiest ways to do recharge and refuel and can be mixed up every time with new ingredients and toppings. This Green Matcha Smoothie Bowl recipe, which features our favourite Bondi Protein Co Vegan Vanilla Protein powder, is not only the tastiest way to sneak superfoods into your diet but also really quick and easy to make.

Ingredients:

1 cup frozen banana
1 serve Vegan Vanilla Protein
1 serve matcha powder (2g)
1 cup spinach
75 ml milk (of your choosing)
Blueberries (handful)
1 passionfruit
Granola (handful)

Method:

  1. Add banana, protein, matcha, spinach and milk to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and transfer to a bowl.
  3. Cut passionfruit in half and garnish with blueberries and granola.

Reflect

A great way to start your day off on the right note is by setting yourself up mentally, and journaling is one of the best ways to do that. Taking the time to journal, especially when you write it by hand, is a form of self-care that allows you to reflect and develop a deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

If you’re new to journaling, or in need of some journal prompts inspiration, here are some of our favourites to get you into a healthy mindset:

  • What is one thing I want to accomplish today?
  • What is one thing I want to accomplish this week?
  • How can I align actions with my goals?
  • What might be holding me back?
  • How can I get closer to achieving my goals?

Whether it’s a day off, a day behind the desk, or a day of seemingly endless tasks, remember, you’ve got this! The day is yours, so make it a good one.
