A great way to start your day off on the right note is by setting yourself up mentally, and journaling is one of the best ways to do that. Taking the time to journal, especially when you write it by hand, is a form of self-care that allows you to reflect and develop a deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
If you’re new to journaling, or in need of some journal prompts inspiration, here are some of our favourites to get you into a healthy mindset:
- What is one thing I want to accomplish today?
- What is one thing I want to accomplish this week?
- How can I align actions with my goals?
- What might be holding me back?
- How can I get closer to achieving my goals?
Whether it’s a day off, a day behind the desk, or a day of seemingly endless tasks, remember, you’ve got this! The day is yours, so make it a good one.
