What We’re Doing to Keep You Safe

In accordance with the NSW Government’s Roadmap to Recovery, we are excited to welcome you back to MidCity Shopping Centre from Monday 11th October 2021.

Ensuring the health and safety of all visitors, retailers and employees within MidCity Shopping Centre remains our priority. That’s why we are committed to monitoring the current Covid-19 situation and taking preventative actions as guided by NSW Health. We want you to feel confident and safe when visiting our centre. We recognise that places where people gather, like shopping centres, need to be clean and welcoming.

Here are the steps we are taking:

  • Strengthening our already stringent cleaning processes, including an enhanced focus on sanitising high-touch points with high-grade disinfectant, as well as increasing the number of cleaning rotations each day.
  • Placement of hand sanitiser stations at key locations throughout the centre, including our main centre entrances for our entire community to access.
  • Installation of signage across our Centre, reminding our community to keep 1.5 metres between themselves and others at all times.
  • Round-the-clock professional security staff who will focus on promoting social distancing and discouraging gathering, as well as mask-wearing.
  • Customer courtesy seating has been removed from common areas at this time. This will be reinstated in the future, subject to relevant updates on restrictions by the NSW Government and NSW Health. Upon reinstatement, seating will feature social distancing messaging decals.
